Brookfield is a Victorian house, redecorated in period style, operating a non-smoking policy. Situated in a quiet area close to the Historical Stone Circle and on the C2C route. Families, walkers, sightseers and cyclists can all be assured of a warm welcome and a hearty wholesome Cumberland breakfast. Our rooms are doubles, twins, triples or families, single available on request, and are all en suite with tea and coffee making facilities and colour TV. Packed lunches also available for £5, donation of 50p to Keswick Mountain Rescue Team. Local books, maps, videos, advice, local weather reports and fell conditions are available. Street parking opposite, also secure cycle storage at the rear of the house. We accept credit and debit cards. Cumbria Tourism and Keswick Association member. Free wifi is available in all rooms with an excellent signal.

Directions:
From M6 jct 40 at Penrith, Keswick is 17 miles along the A66. Take the Windermere/Keswick slip road marked A591. Brookfield is 800m on the right-hand side, opposite the turning to Castlerigg Stone Circle.
From M6 at jct 36 then Keswick is 35 miles up the A591 through Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere, a more scenic tour. On approach into Keswick down the hill, take the 1st main turning on the right to Penrith/Cockermouth. Brookfield is 50m on the left-hand side.
