Dating from the 17thC our cottage is cosy and comfortable with an Aga wood burning stove and views of the river Leven and passing steam trains. Walking is available from the doorstep.

The cottage is set in 1/3 acre of rocky terraced gardens with a secluded barbecue area beneath the oak tree.

Directions: From M6 J36 take A590 dual C-Way towards Kendal. Take left turn A590 towards Barrow/Newby Bridge. At Island turn right up hill towards Newby Bridge. Pass over Island at Newby Bridge and continue for about one mile to Back Barrow. Take the right turn at sign 'Lakeland Village' and the cottage is facing on the opposite side of the river bridge.
