Goosemire Cottages is a small family run agency offering 38 self catering holiday cottages and barn conversions, ranging in size from one to seven bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests. We have cottages in various locations throughout the Lake District, Lake District Peninsulas, and Eden valley.

Many have kept their original features and character such as exposed beams, deep window recesses, open log fires, and several have either lakeside frontage or lake views (Ullswater, Bassenthwaite, Bowness on Windermere, Rydal Water and Wastwater).

We know all our properties personally. This individual knowledge means we can match your needs to a particular property, and help you plan your ideal holiday.

Prices include insurance, there are no booking fees, and no charge for pets.

We are open all year round and offer out of season and last minute short breaks.
