Tulip Cottage is a very comfortable one bedroom cottage surrounded by 6 acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands. It is in the grounds of Low Jock Scar.
There are stunning views from all the rooms of the historic listed bridge, river, gardens and busy bird tables.
The living room has a log burning stove which is in addition to the timed combi boiler. There is a large sofa which can be used as a sofa bed, an armchair, table, dining chairs and well equipped kitchen area. TV, DVD, CD played WIFI access
The bathroom has a thermostatically controlled mira shower over the bath and heated towel rail. Towels may be rented at a cost of £5 per set per person.
The bedroom has a medium soft double bed, furnished for your comfort and well being.
The garden is shared with the owners and Guest house. It has many seating areas, by the river, in the shade, in the sun. Unwind and relax by the river in this very special place.

Lily cottage self catering
Lily Cottage is a beautifully furnished, very comfortable self catering cottage
It has one bedroom with a king size bed, living room, kitchen and bathroom.
The living room has a sofa armchair dining table and chairs. It is attractively furnished with solid oak Furniture and beautiful stylish touches. There is a television and DVD player.
The Kitchen is very well equipped including fridge freezer, microwave, hob, oven and a wide range of equipment. It has solid beech work surfaces to add to it's cottage country charm.
The bedroom has been designed with romantic couples in mind, to make a lovely relaxing comfortable space with king size bed, oak furniture, cotton bedding, down duvets and extra summer weight duvets and blankets in the wardrobe.
The bathroom has a bath with Mira thermostatically controlled shower over, a heated towel rail and plenty of space. Towels are available at a cost of £5 per set per person.

Directions ...
From the South:
Exit M6 at Junction 36 and follow the signs to Kendal south. Once in Kendal, follow the signs for "A6 Penrith and Shap". Low Jock Scar is approx. six (6) miles along the A6. The signs to look out for are the Plough one mile before and the memorial hall less than half a mile before. Low Jock Scar is sign-posted on the left hand side. The sign is coloured green and reflective silver.
From the North:
Exit M6 at Junction 39 (Shap), at the T-junction turn left and follow A6 for nine (9) miles. After seven (7) miles, you will see Kendal Caravans on your right hand side. Low Jock Scar is sign-posted two miles after the Kendal Caravan sign.
SAT Navs - may take you around Kendal through Burneside via awkward narrow roads. I preffer to go through Kendal staying on the main roads
