A group of 5 charming sandstone cottages, each well-equipped cottage is decorated and furnished with care to reflect its own character, the properties being maintained by the owners. The cottages are set within extensive gardens, situated on the edge of an attractive Cumbrian village, near the River Eden and surrounded by rolling farmland. The picturesque village of Great Salkeld, with a Pub serving excellent food, offers tranquillity, yet there is easy access to the lakes and mountains of the Lake District, the Scottish Borders, also the many interesting villages of the Eden Valley and Northern Pennines. Local activities include: Walking, Cycling, Golf, Swimming, Sailing, Fishing or visiting the many attractions and historic sites of the Eden Valley and Cumbria. Garth Cottage sleeps 6 or a family of 8, has four bedrooms and a large living area with wood burning stove. High Croft and Langriggs each sleep 4. Windale sleeps 3 or a family of 4 while Mickledale sleeps 3. Our pri ces are fully inclusive.

In the village of Great Salkeld turn off the main road opposite the phone box and post box. After about 200 yards turn right at a small crossroads, this leads directly to the cottages. Car Park on the left, Reception on the right.
